Entrepreneurship: A Third Option for Students
When it comes to careers, universities traditionally have been places that prepare students for getting great jobs or furthering their studies as graduate students.
In partnership with the UC Merced Center for Career and Professional Advancement, we provide a third option — exploring entrepreneurship.
Through our Student Entrepreneurship Mentoring Program, we provide students with distilled information on what starting up companies is all about and offer advice about how to get started, such as with a membership in the UC Merced Venture Lab. We use a coaching method based on the Lean Startup methods and provide members with a wide array of customized resources and expert advice.
